Whatever your media, tank depth and profile, SSI probably has an ultrasonic liquid level sensor for your application. Their ultrasonic liquid level sensors generate a high-frequency sound wave to measure the time for the echo to reflect off of the target and return to the ultrasonic liquid level sensor. The distance from the sensor to the fluid surface is calculated based on the speed of sound and the profile programmed into the sensor. Continuous measurements are transmitted via analog interface.

The fluid level sensor models vary based on tank depth and media. Tthe typical maximum measurable depth is 3 meters. They have sensor solutions for water, beverages, petrochemicals, semiconductor manufacturing chemicals and other corrosive liquids.
